Under the Sea… with C-hop!
Well, coming away on holiday, we were always looking forward to every minute of every aspect of our break… but I don’t think I’m wrong in saying that this was one of the things we were especially looking forward to.
Picked up by a loveable cockney and tutored by someone who could only be described as David Hasslehoff on Valium, we spent this afternoon at the Dive College here in Lanzarote. Charlotte settled, or was shoved, into it without any hitches but after burning my bare feet I then suddenly forgot the art of how to breathe, my 23 years of experience deserting me.
Anyway, I got through that and we had a good half-hour with the fish-folk and other underwater creatures. I’ll let the pictures say the rest but even these three don’t really do it justice!
Pizza and footie for the England game tomorrow… See you soon!

Yay! So glad you guys enjoyed the diving (and that Damian - the loveable cockney - did his job in looking after you….I emailed him and told him you were going over!). I must admit Im failing to think who the ‘Hasslehoff on valium’ is though!! On valium could be anyone, but Hasslehoff lookalike….. haha
Hope you carry on enjoying the wonderful Playa Blanca! Wish I was there!!
Lots of love from my giant pile of revision in Nottingham

Thanks for that! The Hoff tribute was for Tim. A body chisled out of granite and yet probably the most relaxed person I’ve ever met, he was super - do pass on my thanks and compliments next time you get to speak to him. As for Damian, he was also a delight, very patient!
Unfortunately we’re back home now but have left hefty recommendations for people to give the dive a go, I dare say we will do again sometime, too!
