Well, after a couple of weeks off, the Chris Moyles team are back this week and sounding great.

Good news, though, Dave has gone and become a father!

Well done, Dave. As Chris says, though; I’d rather have an iPod!

Made another brief radio appearance again the other night, this time on BBC WM’s late-night round-up programme, giving a report on the night’s game between Harriers and Walsall. Went pretty well, I thought, and I’m slowly getting better at these as more and more requests come along. There was a time when I turned them all down and made excuses because I was too nervous so I must be doing something right!

God - lately it seems whenever I take a break from posting, I end up returning because someone’s gone and died. Not a great pattern to get into it has to be said.

Sad to hear of the passing of EastEnders actor Mike Reid over the weekend. Even those who aren’t soap fans will know Mike Reid for his famous Frank Butcher character. He died at a relatively young age after suffering a sudden heart attack.

What’s sadder is that people who knew him said he was in very good health in the time leading up to his death - he’d also passed a recent medical examination. It seems even the healthier people get these days, nobody is safe!
