Singles are supposed to mean nothing nowadays.

Now this woman has been at Number One with her single for TEN WEEKS - the longest spell at the top since the ever-famous ‘Love is All Around’ by Wet Wet Wet back in 1994.

I guess that means we should show some respect? - I just wish it would stop raining!

I’ve just worked out that I spend far too much money on Play.com When I say this, I mean that since my first order in September 2004 - that was a present for you, Laura! - I’ve spent £1,666 there. But come to think of it, is that too much?

Don’t get me wrong, I do have a LOT of stuff. But roughly 1,030 days have passed since then, and it works out at about £1.60 per day.

But wow. £1,600 on 155 items - think of what I could have done with that!

Been reading the autobiography of ‘The Two Ronnies’ over the last week or so and I have to say it’s one of the most delightful books I’ve ever read, so very nauturally funny and very charming.

Well after a gap of three long weeks, I’m back.

The longest break I’ve ever had I think, but there were reasons for it.

I’m going to try and not write much about Chris Benoit from now on, because my article on the whole situation took up the whole homepage for the past fortnight.
